Ahmet Gul is the last guard of a tradition that has been going on for 114 years. The process started with “Cideli Ahmet” and will end with “Ahmet Gul”. In the isolated area where he lives, his relationship with the lighthouse changes day by day. Lighthouse started to lose its function because of the development of computer science (or technological development). Correspondingly, Ahmet Gul also started to lose his duty. Even though Ahmet Gul aims to sustain and deliver his profession to his son as a family tradion, he is not able to fulfill his wish because his son is autistic and cannot continue this profession. This situation caused many physical and mental changes on Ahmet Gul. The documentary tells loss of duty over time of the lighthouse keeper Ahmet Gul, and problems he faced with his son.
